Poem

Theme : Self-motivation
The Young woman
Gently, He called, young friend, sit down with me here
She haltingly stepped forward, her eyes filled with fear   (Metaphor)
But, Master, she cried, I've nothing to offer you
Many here are more gifted, I have no talents as others do
My child, He softly chided, lifting her face toward His own
You're made in the image of your mother, who sits on a throne    (Metaphor)
You're unique, and a treasure, to your Father above    (Metaphor)
To Him you are precious, He looks down on you in love
Keep yourself spotless and become an eternal bride
Remember little sister, it was for you that I died
Your body is a temple, a vessel that is pure     (Metaphor)
Remain true to your standards, you can endure
Obey my commandments, always choosing the right
Matchless daughter of God, keep walking in the light
-       Patricia Ashley-Romer

The tone of the poem is confident and reassuring, where the message in this poem is to show people that everyone is special in their own way, for when you feel sad or down, and that you can’t do anything right, this poem is supposed to inspire you.

Poem

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon  (Metaphor)
And holds us fiercely in its womb.   (Metaphor)

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold  (Simile)
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast (Simile)
Bonds like this are meant to last.  (Simile)

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

                                                 - Sheelagh Lennon
The tone of the poet is happy and glad as well as calm.
The message of the poem is to show us that love makes a connection between people, makes them care about each other and even if that connection is broken it will bee replaced.

Poem

Theme : Love

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height   (Metaphor)
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.    (Allusion)
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.    (Repetition): Love thee
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
-       Elizabeth Barrett Browning
The tone in the poem, is peaceful and calm, since the poet is in love so while she is expressing her love it is quite normal to feel very happy, calm and almost euphoric, may be even intense, since she had an affair with Robert Browning whom she later married, against her father’s will.
The message of the poet is to express how much she loves the person she is in love with, trying to show him how many ways she loves him, she is also trying to warm up our hearts by showing us how much she loved him.

Poem

Theme: Love
I do not love you
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,    ( Metaphor) or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.    ( Metaphor) I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,   ( Metaphor) in secret, between the shadow and the soul.  I love you as the plant that never blooms   ( Metaphor) but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers; thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body. I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
-       Pablo Neruda
The tone of the poet seem to be almost euphoric, since he is in love and peaceful
The message of the poet is to express his love to the woman that he is in love with.

Qualities of a Good Friend

There is no specific qualities that are needed to a friend, for everyone has his own personality. However, in friendship some things are simply necessary. For a friend is a person who you can depend on, a person you can trust with your life. Friends are something very important in a persons life, but quantity does not matter very much in this subject, but what does matter is the quality of your friends, because a person can have as many friends as he wants, but at the end the ones that really do matter are the ones who will be there for you, who will help you. The thing is, your friend is the one who knows where you're coming from and where you're headed, as an author once said: "Making a million friends is not a miracle. The miracle is to make a friend who will stand by you when millions are against you.''
And a friend is a person who not only is nice to your face, but what is more important, behind your back, for many friendships will die if everyone knew what their friends have been saying about them behind there back, so here is another quality "Loyalty", is one of the most important ones, without it a friend ca never trust another.
So to me the qualities of a friend should be, loyal, trustworthy for friendship must be based on trust and you cannot be friends with someone who you do not trust or if he does not trust you, honesty, is also a very important quality, it is what builds a very big part of your trust. Good listener, for he is he person who you will go to, to complain or to tell about your day. Good company, a friend should be a good company, a person who you look forward to meeting, to spending time with, you enjoy yourself while you are with him, you do not feel sad, offended, or as if it's a burden, a person should feel bad or weak while he is with his friend. Forgiving, to me this quality is one of the most important, since it quite common to fight with your friend, so usually you always feel bad after fighting and you just want to forget about it, so this quality also involves another one which is to have the power to say "i'm sorry", since i don't like people who are stubborn when it comes to this point. Another quality is Caring, you should feel safe while you are with your friend, should know that, your friend cares about you, and is not afraid to show it. One of the last qualities I can think of right now, is for a friend to be Encouraging, for everyone needs someone to keep telling them that they're are doing a great job, and to keep us going, encouraging us to do whatever it is that we want to do.

Constitution

Simply, a constitution is a set of principles that set up a political system, where the state will later follow. The word "Constitution" comes from the Latin word constutere which means to arrange or to decide. It plays a very big role in countries, where it it what sets the law, which all the people must follow, as well as limit the ruler's power and control.
The first constitution ever written was in 625 B.C, by a man called Draco, who wrote it for the city of Athens, they were very cruel laws, mosstly death penalties as results of certain actions. Nowadays when a very cruel law is made they call it "Draconian". After that another man called Solon, who was then the ruler of Athens, made the Solonian constitution, to decrease the burden of workers.

As we all know the situation in Egypt is currently very unstable, but I think that it will be better for the country to have the presidential elections first then write the constitution, because I think it will be a lot safer to have it this way, since there will be someone in charge therefore, can control things.
